Local grads earn honors at Moorpark College commencement Nearly 400 students attended the Moorpark College Commencement on May 18 on the Campus Center Quad. The Commencement speaker was Ventura County District Attorney Greg Totten. The 2005/06 graduating class has 1,130 students, including students who graduated in summer and fall 2005. Graduating students with a 3.5 GPA or higher number 214. Graduating seniors with a 4.0 GPA include Peggy L. Rasmussen ofOak Park, Kasey L. Crispin and Mary C. Hanley of Thousand Oaks, Christine B. Hughes and Anaka S. Nazareth ofSimi Valley and Kovilanie Chainee, Jason E. Kudlinski and Chantelle M. Limon ofCamarillo. Crispin, a 2003 graduate of Westlake High School, also served as Associated Students President this academic year. She majored in philosophy/psychology and has been accepted to UC Berkeley. She is pre-med. |
