Thieves stole $4,000 from the Yamato Restaurant in the 28700 block of Roadside Drive May 14. The manager of the restaurant said someone entered the office and took the money from a file cabinet while the business was closed.

Someone smashed the windshield of a vehicle parked in front of a home on Conejo View Drive May 14. The loss was $250.

Thieves stole $11,000 worth of jewelry from a home on Medea Mesa Road. The incident occurred May 12.

Vandals smashed several windows and caused $1,500 in damages to two vehicles parked in a driveway on Towhee Drive May 14. According to the victims, a group of uninvited young males wanted to crash a birthday party at the home. They allegedly began to throw rocks and beer bottles at the vehicles.

Two surfboards valued at $1,100 were stolen from the roof of a vehicle parked at an apartment complex on Las Virgenes Road. The incident occurred May 14.

Thieves stole an iPOD, a satellite radio and accessories from an unlocked vehicle parked on Calle Jazmin on May 12. The loss was $400.

Someone stole a digital photo camera and accessories valued at $500 from a vehicle parked in the 24100 block of Calabasas Road May 11.

Westlake Village

Burglars stole sunglasses, jewelry and a pair of pants from a vehicle parked in a driveway on Catarnina Drive on May 14. The loss was about $1,100.

A vehicle was reported stolen at 12:50 a.m. May 21 in the 2800 block of Hickory Lane.

Police arrested a suspect for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol at 4:40 p.m. May 18 on northbound Lindero Canyon Road at Kanan Road.

At 4:20 a.m. May 17 in the 1200 block of Ridgecrest Drive, about $400 in property was stolen from a vehicle.
