A new gallery that caters to horse lovers has opened. HorseN-Around features equestrian art, sculpture, fine jewelry, gourmet gift baskets, T-shirts, purses, home dcor and more, selected to please those who ride or just admire horses.

Busy in June

The Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a Networking Breakfast of Champions from 7 to 9 a.m. Fri., June 2 at Los Robles Greens Banquet Center, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Admission is $26. Advance purchase by May 31 ranges from $17 to $22.

The event will feature a "Marketing for Success" theme. Spe

cial guest speaker Nancy Mayerson of Mayerson Marketing & Public Relations will present ways to put "Public Relations Pizzazz" into business.

Special guest speaker Greg Spaulding of Spaulding & Associates will discuss marketing strategies to develop "Marketing Magic."

On Fri., June 9, the fourth annual Spirit of Community Awards Celebration will be presented by Amgen and the Thousand OaksWestlake Village Community Foundation from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

Local teachers, firefighters, police officers and a special community volunteer will be honored for their dedication and service to their communities.
