Stark's status in limbo for CIF track and field finals
     Photo courtesy of Larry Barton RISE UP-Oak Park junior Aubree Stark clears the bar at 10 feet, 6 inches in the girls' pole vault at last weekend's CIF-SS Division III Prelims at Warren High. Stark's foot was stung by a bee Sunday and she may be unable to perform in this Saturday's CIF Finals at Cerritos College, head coach Kevin Smith said. OPHS is slated to have six athletes compete in different events this weekend.

     Last week's tennis article on the Marmonte League Tournament reported Thousand Oaks won the regularseason team championship. Calabasas was the league's title winner. Thousand Oaks finished third.

     PUMAS WIN-The Pumas defeated According to Jim, 5-4, in the Westlake-Agoura Girls Softball (WAGS) 12-U National Tournament title game.
