Yes on schools

This June there are two important measures on the ballot that will maintain the outstanding quality of education that Oak Park schools are known for and that we all benefit from, whether we have children or not. They are Measures B6 and C6 and I urge you to support them.

Yes, they will present a small increase in our annual property tax, but please take a look at those figures. For even the highest valued Oak Park homes, it amounts to less than the cost of dining out once a month, for one person.

Measures B6 and C6 are a smart investment that will not only provide a safe and modern learning environment for local kids, but will also maintain the value and prestige of our schools and, in turn, the value of our homes.
