Bicycles versus cars continued I have been cycling the local roads for many years. For the most part, I find drivers to be very courteous to cyclists and vice versa. There are always the exceptionsChris Honma needs to understand that following traffic laws is often not enough. If you were yelled at by a cyclist while driving, it was probably well deserved. You may feel you are within your right to make right turn from the right lane; however, if there is a cyclist on youright, you may be endangering hisher safety. Trying to beat us to a turn ianother problem we run into. In case of an accident, the car wilalways win, so cut us a little slackAll we ask for is a little common sense and some common courtesyI wish that as part of getting driver's license every driver would be required to spend a few hourriding a bicycle. This might makthe likes of Mr. Murphy and ChriHonma a little more tolerant ocyclists and a little more courteous. It really shouldn't be cars vsbicycles. We really can coexist on the roads.
