Church presents family fun day

West Hills Church will present its annual Kid Jam from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., May 20 at 7475 Fallbrook Ave., West Hills. The event features activities for children in grades one through six.

With a theme of Rodeo Round-up, activities will include pony rides, a petting zoo, arcade games, Bible stories, puppet shows, music and prizes.

Providing a safe, Christianthemed event for young children and their families has become a yearly tradition for West Hills Church and its Spanish-speaking partner church, Iglesia Bautista Jerusalem.

"This is an opportunity for the congregation to reach out to families in the community providing an enjoyable environment where their children can have fun," said Pastor Dave Drummond. "We want to let them know the church and the message of the Bible and offer positive experiences for young people."

The event is free and open to all. Refreshments and entertainment are provided for parents to enjoy while their children play.
