Jonathan Ziv, DDS, an Agoura Hills dentist special

izing in "smile makeover" cosmetic dentistry, has been selected to lecture at the upcoming American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry conference in San Diego.

Ziv has practiced in Agoura Hills for 26 years and is known for creating dramatic facial transformations. He has been asked to share his knowledge of facial rejuvenation through cosmetic dentistry techniques. Ziv said the processes enable him to restore smiles to teenage brilliance.

Ziv studied these techniques at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He received accredited status from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Ziv is one of only three California dentists with similar qualifications.

Another bonus of neuromuscular dentistry, according to Ziv, is that in addition to providing the patient a more youthful appearance, it may alleviate the symptoms of temporomandibular (jaw joint) disorder.
