Hold legislature accountable

If you pay someone else's bills for them, they will let you. This is what we have going on with the bonds that are being proposed on the June ballot.

Real estate sales have been at an all-time high, along with inflated prices over the last few years. This has been a windfall for counties and California since they are allowed to reappraise the property for tax increases when homes are sold. What have the politicians done with all this money?

They keep coming to the taxpayers to fund fire, police, education, parks, etc. These services should come first and then all these special programs that some people want. It seems they are funding everything but the essentials.

With the high price of gasoline, there should be all kinds of revenue from sales taxes on the gasoline. What has happened to that money? They give lip service to the high gas prices, but they are really loving it because of the revenue.

Come election day, tell the school district to go to the legislature for the infrastructure money by voting "no" on the school bonds Charles Ammann Calabasas
