Christian artist to perform in West Hills
Earl Buffington Spirit Works, the contemporary worship and ministry at West Hills Church, is presenting its monthly evening of worship, tunes and testimony at 7:30 p.m. on Fri., May 12 featuring recording artist Earl Buffington.
Dubbed "the soulful singing champion of romantic music for Christians," Buffington has been a touring and recording vocalist for more than two decades. The Detroit native is regularly featured with South African jazz guitarist Jonathan Butler. His recording credits include Boney James and Ray Charles.
In the gospel world, Buffington was lead vocalist for 15 years with the Followers of Christ, touring America and Europe with leading evangelists including Kenneth Hagin, Robert Schuller and Morris Cerullo.
He has recorded with gospel greats Andre Crouche, Take 6, The Winans, Howard Smith and Vanessa Bell-Armstrong.
