Local tutoring services available

KnowledgePoints, a national tutoring company that helps students build strong academic skills and improve school performance, announced it will offer its services to Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village students in grades kindergarten through 12 who are struggling, have fallen behind or who need to be challenged.

KnowledgePoints tutoring will be available after school and throughout the summer at 1145 Lindero Canyon Road Ste. D6 in Westlake Village.

KnowledgePoints, based in Portland, Ore., provides an individualized and personal approach to basic skills tutoring in reading, math, writing, pre-algebra, algebra and studying. Certified teachers run the franchised centers.
