Says bicyclists are hogging the road

The arrogance of some bicyclists is absolutely astounding. They demand "equal rights" to the roads, but, for them, it is a oneway street.

They think that none of the highway rules apply to them. I actually had one bicyclist run a red light and hold up his hand for me to stop even though I had the green.

Their idea of "share the road" is that they have the absolute right to prevent you from using the road in a normal way.

The incredible canard that the bicyclists always put forward is that they are, somehow, saving the environment. But these very same individuals will be found driving their SUVs hundreds of miles to work. How many of these cyclists actually ride their cycles to work? David K Murphy Malibu
