St. Max Kolbe church to sponsor golf tourney
Putting contest, dinner, auction planned
St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church will host its 12th annual Golf Classic at 10 a.m. Mon., May 1 at North Ranch Country Club, 4761 Valley Spring Drive, Westlake Village. The tournament will commence with a putting contest at 10 a.m. Cocktails will be served at 4:30 p.m. Entertainment during the cocktail hour will feature a concert, "Celebrating the Next Generation," by the St. Max Youth Choir under the direction of Derick Mabalot. A buffet dinner at 6 p.m. will be followed by a live auction, raffle and golfing awards. The $250 admission fee for individual golfers includes golf, lunch, cocktails, buffet dinner and a tee gift. Cocktails and dinner only for non-golfers is $65 per person. Tickets are available at the door or may be purchased in advance by calling the church at (818) 9913915. Donations for the live auction are welcome and may be dropped off at the church, 5801 Kanan Road (corner of Lindero Canyon Road), Westlake Village. |
