Parents needed to help with curriculum

The Las Virgenes Unified School District is seeking residents who live within the district's attendance area to serve on the district Curriculum Council for a two-year term ending June 2008.

Applicants need not be teachers or former teachers and a college degree is not necessary. Applicants should have a strong interest in curriculum and instruction in the school district.

The deadline for filing applications is 4 p.m. Fri., June 9.
