Scholarships available from Conejo Valley realtors

Marilyn Barilotti, executive vice president of the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors, announced the availability of several $1,000 scholarships to be awarded to high school seniors graduating from any of the nine Conejo Valley high schools. Each school will receive at least one scholarship.

Each year the association supports local students and encourages continuing education by financially contributing to their future. The high schools served by the association include Agoura, La Reina, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Oaks Christian, Oak View Continuing, Thousand Oaks, Westlake and Conejo Valley Continuing High School.

The application deadline is Fri., April 28.

"Funding for the scholarships is made possible through the generosity of our realtor and affiliate members," said Barilotti.

Each school is represented by a committee liaison. This year's committee members include Dian Singh of Sotheby's International Realty, Michael Rumbin of Dilbeck Realty, Allison Kosar of Century 21 Rolling Oaks, Sheromie Vittachi of White House Properties, Caleb Kling of Sotheby's International Realty, Sherry PriceKnight of Troop Real Estate and Erica Hamilton of Century 21 Adobe Realty.
