Dilbeck Realtors & Associates Charitable Foundation Will Host Annual Golf Classic
Mark Dilbeck, president of Dilbeck Realtors GMAC and funder of the Dilbeck Realtors & Associates Charitable Foundation, recently announced that the foundation will host its fourth annual Golf Classic on Mon., May 1 at the Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, a course laid out by the famous course designer Max Behr in 1922. Tree-lined fairways, strategically-placed bunkers and treacherous small greens make Oakmont one of the great courses in Southern California.
The $225 registration fee will include a continental breakfast at check in, 18 holes of golf, cart, use of range, prizes, hot barbeque lunch and beverages on the course, goody bags, dinner with no host cocktails, and a donation to the foundation.
"The tournament format will be a four person scramble with a 11:30 a.m. shotgun start," said Bev Widney, tournament cochair.
"We are looking for sponsors for this event," said Jerry
Bolin, co-chairman. "We are looking for a wide range of sponsors, starting with a tee sponsor at $250 and all the way to our Eagle sponsors at $3,000."
The nonprofit foundation was founded in 1998 to support local charities which promote the welfare of humankind.
"Over $186,000 was given to local nonprofit organizations this past year," said Widney.
Dilbeck Realtors is committed to contributing a portion of every company dollar from each of its sales commission to the foundation, as well as individual donations made by agents and staff.
