Man was a beloved volunteer

Tony Curry, age 46 of Oak Park, passed away Fri., April 14 as a result of a bicycle accident in Indio. Tony was preparing for the Toyota Desert International Distance Triathlon at the time of the accident.

Tony is a well-known member of the Oak Park community, having donated many hours of volunteer support to Red Oak Elementary, Medea Creek Middle School and Oak Park High School.

A memorial honoring Tony will be held on Sat., April 22 at the Pierce Brothers Chapel on Lindero Road in Westlake Village at 9:30 a.m.

Tony leaves behind a very supportive and loving family including his wife, Yvette, and his sons, Trevor and Michael, as well as many friends. Rose Covert Oak Park
