Help clean Agoura Hills

The city of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services will host the 18th annual Trashbusters cleanup program from 9 a.m. to noon on Sat., April 22.

The program is designed to clean and beautify the city of Agoura Hills and to provide an opportunity to nonprofit organizations to raise funds. In the past, volunteers including the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, homeowner associations, churches and other community groups have collected more than 400 bags of litter.

Volunteers check in at 9 a.m. at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center, 30610 Thousand Oaks Blvd. and then continue on to their designated route to pick up litter. Upon conclusion of the event at 11:30 a.m. the volunteers will return to the recreation center for a free lunch. Participating groups will receive cash donations for each bag of trash collected.
