Agoura Hills

Thieves stole sunglasses, cosmetics and cash valued at $430 from a convertible car parked underneath an apartment complex on Viedea Lane on Jan. 25. Damages to the convertible top amounted to $600.

A briefcase containing a man's wallet, American and Japanese cash, identification and bank cards valued at about $1,000 was stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway on Cambridge Court on April 3. The culprits also damaged one of the vehicle's windows, valued at $400.

Someone stole a purse containing a wallet, a digital camera and a cellphone from the bedroom of a home on Chesebro Road during a party on April 2.

Vandals spray-painted the walls of a men's restroom at Old Agoura Park on Chesebro Road on March 31. Damages were $500.

Burglars smashed the window of a vehicle parked March 31 on Lewis Road in order to steal a compact disc case containing various CDs valued at about $500. Damages to the vehicle were $400.

Several school backpacks were stolen at Agoura High School on March 27. Some of the bags were found in trash cans.

Thieves broke a window and robbed a business in the 5100 block of Clareton Drive on March 24. They stole a DVD player valued at $1,000 and a projector valued at $200.

Calabasas

A video camera and cellphone valued at $600 were stolen from a home on Las Virgenes Road on April 4. There were no signs of forced entry.

A backpack containing sports equipment and a cellphone valued at $955 was stolen from a school bus on March 24 at Calabasas High School.

Oak Park

At 8:30 on April 3 in the 1000 block of Doubletree Road, deputies arrested a person for carrying a switchblade knife.

Westlake Village

A thief stole $300 in cash from a vehicle parked in a driveway on Saddletree Drive on April 2.

Vandals spray-painted and broke windows of a John Deere excavator at the Yerba Buena Elementary School construction site on Lindero Canyon Road March 24. Damages were $1,000.

A bag containing books valued at $250 was stolen from a vehicle parked on Saddlecrest Lane April 2. Vandals smashed a window, causing $450 in damage.
