Sheriff's program applauded

I would like to heartily thank the Lost Hills Sheriff Station's STTOP (Sheriff's Teen Traffic Offender) program

I am the mother of a teen driver who had the good fortune of being a target of STTOP.

Having received a complaint from a concerned citizen, a Dep. Woodard paid a visit to my son at school. The experience of this one-on-one with the uniformed officer clearly got the message across about the dangers of his driving habits, as well as making him aware that it wasn't only the sheriff that was keeping an eye on him.

I am happy to report that his driving is vastly improved-according to the "eyes" in my neighborhood. No amount of lecturing from me could have accomplished this.
