Democracy on the wane Do you know about the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 bill that was only passed by the Senate? Our Constitution says a bill shall be passed by both houses of Congress. This bill hurts the people of this country. It cuts Medicare spending, extends welfare cuts, decreases student loans and cuts federal funding of state child support enforcement programs. This president continues to make his own rules and ignores the Constitution. He says the Constitution is a piece of paper. He is the commander in chief and you will do what he says.
