Willow Elementary to host spring fundraiser Event scheduled on Cinco de Mayo

Willow Elementary School will host its annual fundraising gala Fri., May 5 at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza in Westlake Village. This year's event will be an evening of El Cinco de Mayo and the theme is "South of the Border."

The event will feature the traditional silent auction, ticket raffles and a great works of art live auction along with a margarita tasting station and other activities.

The goal of the benefit is to raise $100,000 to support the school's computer, music, physical education and art programs which are not financially covered by district, state or federal funds.

Various sponsorship packages are available, ranging from premiere sponsor to event sponsors of particular activities during the evening.

Donated items for the raffles and auctions are also being sought from local businesses and individuals. Tax receipts will be provided for all donated items and donations can be picked up.

Neftin Westlake Volvo and Volkswagen will be the gala title sponsor.
