Reader feels paved under

Is anyone as annoyed as I am with the quality of the re-paving effort in front of the school construction site on Lindero Canyon?

Every morning my cherished cup of Beanscene coffee is nearly launched out of my hand as I navigate the half mile or so of rough pavement and potholes. If I'm lucky, the half-asleep commuter next to me will graciously allow me to migrate over into his or her lane.

My evening commute is even worse. My vehicle is then challenged with several bone jarring trenches that simply can't be circumnavigated. Drivers in both lanes get punished equally.

Perhaps I'm misinformed, but frankly, the repaving appears to be of very poor quality.

As for the unsightly prison wall now being constructed around the new Four Seasons Hotel, don't get me started. . . . J.D. Mabry Oak Park
