Chamber of Commerce presents full line-up of April events

The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce will host a number of events this month.

Wed., April 12: The city of Calabasas and Calabasas Chamber of Commerce will host a public forum on "The Comprehensive Secondhand Smoke Ordinance: What You Need to Know!"

The program is from 3 to 4 p.m. at Calabasas City Hall, 26135 Mureau Road, Calabasas.

Admission is free and light refreshments will be available.

Thurs., April 20: The Chamber will host a business mixer and gift-gathering gala at Ewing & Associates, Sotheby's International Realty, 5016 N. Parkway Calabasas, Ste.100, Calabasas.

Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

Attendees are asked to bring an unwrapped gift for the 11th annual Calabasas Wine Tasting and Silent Auction on Tues., June 6. Guests do not have to bring a gift to attend the mixer.

Thurs., April 27: The Golden Lasso Employee Appreciation Day luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Calabasas Inn, 23500 Park Sorrento, Calabasas.

Admission is $25 Chamber members, $30 for nonmembers and those without reservations.

The day's special guest speaker will be radio personality Jeff Levy from KNX 1070's "Learn'n with Levy."

In observance of Administrative Professional Appreciation Month, the Chamber has created a special luncheon program giving members an opportunity to thank dedicated and committed employees.
