"More teens die after celebrating graduation than any other night," said Kit Rogers, event coordinator. "Grad Night was started in order to save lives. With our community's continued support we will be able to continue this memorable evening and keep our children safe."
Working with Rogers is local production company Koi 1 Productions; production designer Jerry Dunn of Disney Channel's "That's So Raven," director of photography Mikel Neiers of "Friends," "Mad About You" and "The Nanny;" and Andrea NeiersDunn, a former international fashion model and makeup artist.
Shown will be a collection of spring prom dresses provided by Carmen's Creations of Los Angeles, with "breathtaking turn-of-thecentury confections that evoke fairytale glamour," and cutting edge contemporary/special event designs that complement the younger fashion sense from Acapulco Nights of Los Angeles.
Melrose Antiques of Minneapolis, Minn. will display a collection of authentic vintage gowns from the '50s, '60s and '70s.
Creative tuxedo combinations from Friar Tuxedo in Thousand Oaks will be shown, including a suits and tuxedos for rent or purchase at below-retail prices.
