Authors to discuss words, wit, wisdom

The 17th annual Words, Wit and Wisdom Seminar is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mon., April 3 at the Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles. The event is sponsored by the Brandeis University National Women's Committee San Fernando Valley Chapter.

Program moderator will be Barbara Fein, vice president of Risk Management for National Corporations and president of the Risk Insurance Management Society.

The following authors are scheduled to discuss their works:

Phil Doran, Emmy-nominated TV writer, producer and author. His most recent book is "The Reluctant Tuscan."

Denise Hamilton, best-sell

ng author of the Eve Diamond crime series.

Dora Levy Mossanen, whose

atest book is "Courtesan."

Jayne Meadows, stage, screen and TV star, and writer of the book "Inventing Late Night" about her husband, Steve Allen.

Lisa See, author of the recent best seller "Snow Flower and he Secret Fan."
