TROPICAL EXPLORERS-These local residents check out the ancient Mayan culture in the country of Belize, Central America. FLY THE FRIENDLY SKYS-Michael Schaller, joined by Sharon, Crystal and Antoine of Agoura Hills, took The Acorn on a recent floatplane excursion over five glaciers to the Taku Lodge in Juneau, Alaska during a week-long cruise aboard the Serenade of the Seas. GETTING AWAY FROM IT ALL-Carrie Sorosky of Agoura Hills sent us this photo of her family and friends on vacation in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They're in Hunt, Texas, north of San Antonio, at Stonehenge II, a reproduction of the original 3,500-year-old ruins on Salisbury Plain, England. MAO IS WATCHING- Henry and Isabel Cespedes of Calabasas join other tourists at the Great Wall of China beneath a portrait of former Communist leader Mao Tse-tung. ON THE BORDER- Russell Aamodt stands at Hadrian's Wall which separates Scotland from England. Russell used to live in Newbury Park. He toured European battlegrounds with his grandfather, Keith Hurt of Camarillo. |
