Learn to rescue mammals

The California Wildlife Center in Calabasas is hosting a marine mammal rescue training course Sat., March 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Learn to help rescue sick, injured and orphaned seals, sea lions and dolphins along the Malibu/Ventura County coastline. The cost is $10 for training materials. In addition, all volunteers must become annual California Wildlife Center members-$25 for students, $40 for individuals and $100 for families.

The training will be at 26026 Piuma Road, Calabasas. Call (818) 222-2658 to register.

The California Wildlife Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife.
