Come to Sunny Skies day camp open house

Since 1974 Sunny Skies has provided traditional outdoor summer day camp experiences for boys and girls ages 4 to 14. Located in Agoura on a 23-acre ranch that features a winding creek, the camp offers a safe program of swimming, canoeing, nature, crafts, animal care, fishing, archery, horseback riding, team sports, special theme days, sleepouts and more.

Campers are placed into small camp groups to facilitate maximum supervision. The camp is accredited by the American Camping Association.

Parents and their prospective campers are invited to attend an Open House at the camp from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays, March 19 or April 23 to tour the camp site and meet the staff and camp directors Harold Gordon and Jeff Salzman, who've operated the camp for the last 13 years.

Transportation options are available on seatbelt-equipped school buses with professional school bus drivers and multiple camp staff riding on board to lead songs and play games.

The camp session is from June 26 through Aug. 25. Two-, three-, fourand five-day per week combinations are available to meet a family's particular schedule. Early enrollment is advised.
