Critter Tails Dog's incredible journey home
Cindy Michelle Petitfils of Calabasas told us about Cindy, a corgi mix she had adopted from a rescue organization. Cindy had been neglected and was very timid, but is now breaking out of her shell and improving daily.
A few summers ago, the Petitfils went on vacation and had left Cindy at a friend's house. The friend lived off the next freeway exit, about two or three miles from the Petitfils. The friend had a moving sale that day and had left Cindy with her own dog, Tenny.
Later that day, the friend couldn't find Cindy. After looking around her neighborhood, the friend got an idea. She knew that the Petitfils took Cindy for long walks past her house. The friend drove to the Petitfils' house and found Cindy right outside the gate, waiting for her owners.
The most amazing part is that Cindy had to walk through four crosswalks to get home. Cindy was determined and eager to stay with her loving family.
