Free seminar for seniors

A free seminar for seniors and caregiver families on "Legal and medical-who can speak for you when you can't" is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tues., March 14 at the Senior Concerns Adult Day Center, 401 Hodencamp Road, Thousand Oaks.

Session leaders will be Betty Berry, Senior Concerns advocate and state-certified health insurance community educator, and Deborah Sutherland, an attorney and executive director of the Grey Law legal firm.

The seminar will show how to take steps to ensure that critical personal issues are handled before individuals are too frail or ill to speak for themselves.

Participants are encouraged to make reservations by calling Senior Concerns by Mon., March 13. Walk-in registration will be taken if space is available.
