Local Eagle Scouts recognized

Lee and Rosselot attend Calabasas High School. Five members of Troop 198/ 502 were honored at a Court of Honor in Calabasas last month for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.
The group includes David Lee, a senior at Calabasas High School, who, for his Eagle scout project, constructed cubby boxes for an after school program at Lupin Hill Elementary School.
Lee wants to become a medical doctor who is compassionate and understanding with his patients.
He has been an active member in his community and is a cellist in the CSUN Youth Orchestra and a persuasive speaker on the Calabasas High School Debate Team.
Lee also is a National Merit semi-finalist and is currently awaiting results for this year’s National Merit Scholarship award finalists.
Nicholas Rosselot, another senior at Calabasas High School, did a native plant restoration project at Dry Creek Canyon Park for his Eagle project. Rosselot is currently working for the Mountains Restoration Trust.
A talented artist, Rosselot is taking an art class at Pierce College and plans to attend art school before pursuing a career in animation.
He is an active member of the youth group at Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church in Canoga Park.
