Senior Concerns seeks artwork hpE

Senior Concerns’ “Ultimate Dining Experience” team is soliciting entries from Ventura and West Los Angeles county artists and graphic designers to produce original artwork with a unique gourmet theme to be the official logo for the Aug. 6 major fund-raising event.

The artwork can be in any style and medium, and can combine art, photography, words and symbols. The winning artist will grant sole ownership of the artwork to Senior Concerns.

The winning artist will be an honorary guest at the “Ultimate” experience, provided the opportunity to display additional personal artwork, and awarded a cash prize.

The entry form must be returned to Senior Concerns by March 31 and the completed artwork by April 14. The winner will be announced by April 24.

Senior Concerns in Thousand Oaks is a nonprofit social service agency that provides programs for frail and special needs seniors and their family caregivers.

The annual gourmet dining gala is hosted each year at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza and has been Senior Concerns’ major single fundraiser for 20 years.
