Pedestrians hit by car

Three teens were struck by a car and suffered minor injuries at the intersection of Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Lake Lindero Drive on Feb. 10 at approximately 8:30 p.m., police said.

Sgt. Phil Brooks of the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department said the driver, Joseph Mozes, an 18-yearold Agoura Hills resident, was not exceeding the speed limit and was sober at the time of the accident.

According to police, Daniel Hanna, 20, Justine Daniel, 19, and a 17-year-old female said they had the green light before they crossed the street and were struck by the car. Brooks said one of the injured pedestrians had consumed alcohol earlier in the evening, but he could not say whether or not it was a factor in the accident.

The three pedestrians were taken by helicopter to UCLA Medical Center’s trauma unit for observation.

No arrests were made.
