Chamber event kicks off Method Fest

BILL SPARKES/Acorn Newspapers THE STARS COME OUT—Stephanie Warren, president of the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce, welcomes veteran actor Ernie Hudson of “Ghostbusters” fame to the 2006 Method Fest kick-off celebration last week at the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center. Now in its eighth year, the fast-growing independent film festival returns to Calabasas on March 31 for the second year in a row. Hudson, a resident of Hidden Hills, received the Method Fest Indie Hero Award. The film screenings, actor workshops and gala parties run through April 7.
