Up in smoke

The Peoples’ Republic of Calabasas is taking anti-smoking hysteria to new heights.

Who can believe those statistics related to secondhand smoke exposure applied to five minutes of diluted outside smoke? Can people not stand to walk by a smoker now?

Do people stop driving because of the exposure to smog in a traffic jam? Ever suck in a bunch of diesel fumes while you’re driving down the road? Maybe Calabasas should be car and truck free to preserve the air? Lawnmowers? Leafblowers?

Maybe they should provide all their residents with bubbles and filtered air.
