Methodists take mission trip to Mexico

A group of 35 youth and adults from the United Methodist Church of Westlake Village will spend Feb. 17 through 19 in Rosarito, Mexico on a mission trip to build classrooms in a church.

The group will stay at the Lighthouse Mission and meet the local youth in a soccer game.

Brian Long is the church’s director of youth ministry and will lead the mission trip.

The church is at 1049 Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village, and hosts Sunday services at 8, 9 and 10:30 a.m.
