The Agoura Hills Library at 29901 Ladyface Court presents the following activities:
Winter Storytime with stories, music and crafts is weekly through April 5. Toddler time (23 years old) is on Mondays at 11:30 a.m. Preschool time (3-5 year olds) is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 11 a.m.
E a c h Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m., the library is offering “Computers for Beginners.” Learn how to use the mouse and search the Internet and the library online catalogue. Please call the library for a reservation at (818) 889-2278.
Exhibited in the Friends of the Library display case are the winners of the 26th annual county of Los Angeles Public Library Children’s Book Week Bookmark Contest. All the winning entries are displayed next to the winners’ certificates.
The Friends of the Agoura Hills Library are sponsoring two presentations:
Kres Mersky will present a recital of world-renown dancer and revolutionary thinker Isadora Duncan at 6:30 p.m. Tues., March 14. Mersky’s performance brings to life the great dancer’s fascinating persona and the complex human being behind Isadora’s myth—mother, feminist and passionate revolutionist

Eve Loeb
will present
“The Impor
tance of Humor
in Relationships”
at 6 p.m. Tues.,
March 28. For more than 20 years, Loeb has taught as a group facilitator working with women of all ages. She’s also a published author.
The Book Cellar is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with books for children and adults, books-on-tape, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes and more. The donations include recent publications, as well as bestsellers. Paperback books start at 50 cents and hardcover books $1. All proceeds enable the Friends’ support of the library.
Donated items not used by the library or Book Cellar are given to nursing homes, hospitals and prison libraries. Recently, non-purchased Bibles were donated to religious groups.
