Thousand Oaks–Westlake Chamber to present regional economic forecast

The Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce and with the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks will present the Thousand OaksWestlake Village Regional Economic Forecast Seminar from 7 to 9 a.m. Fri., March 3 at the Westlake Village Inn, 31943 Agoura Road, Westlake Village.

The breakfast/conference will include information about the state of the business community specific to Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village. A breakfast buffet will be offered.

A regional economic forecast will be presented by keynote speaker Jamshid Damooei, PhD, professor of economics and codirector of Center for Leadership and Values at California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks. 

Supporting presentations will be made by community business leaders, including Westlake Village Mayor Susan McSweeney and Thousand Oaks Mayor Dennis Gillette.

Additionally, Rick Principe of Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services will speak about commercial real estate; Rick Lemmo of Caruso Affiliated will discuss retail; and Geordie Crossan, president of NBS Financial Services, Inc., will present the national economic outlook. 

The cost is $40 for registration by Wed., March 1 and $48 after this date. Registration is required.
