Calabasas attorney earns promotion

Marc Mayer Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, a leading Los Angeles’ business law firm, announced the promotion of attorney Marc Mayer of Calabasas from the firm’s intellectual property & technology practice to partner.

Mayer currently focuses on intellectual property and entertainment litigation, including copyright, trademark, unfair competition and contract disputes. He serves on the executive committee of the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is a member of the International Game Developers Association Intellectual Property Working Group.

Mayer has worked on a number of high-profile cases, including the successful anti-piracy litigation against Napster and 321 Studios.
