Chiropractor needs volunteers for research project

Research & Clinical Science (RCS), a private-sector research firm conducting a world-wide health and wellness outcome project, announced the acceptance of Dr. Madeline Altman’s Westlake Village chiropractic office as an RCS authorized research site.

Altman is recruiting volunteers for the research project. Volunteers accepted into the program will receive a free chiropractic examination and evaluation, and complete a RCS online quality-oflife survey of their health using their home computer.

There is no charge to participate in the research and volunteers are under no obligation to receive chiropractic care. They may end their participation at any time.

Altman has been a doctor of chiropractic since 1986 and she moved to the Westlake area in 1985.

The RCS program uses Internet-based data collection techniques to compile information on the impact of chiropractic on health. Areas of study include exploring the ability of chiropractic to strengthen the immune system, increase energy levels, and enhance the general level of wellness.
