Chamber seats new board of directors

The Thousand OaksWestlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2006 board of directors, to be led by chairman John Dokken, the governmental and external affairs director for Verizon in Thousand Oaks.

A graduate of San Diego State University, Dokken has been a member of the Chamber board of directors since 1998. He has been in his current position with Verizon for more than a decade.

The board of directors will be announced at the annual gala recognition dinner, “A Night on Broadway,” on Fri., March 10 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, Simi Valley. The event will honor outgoing 2005 chair Judi Irwin and other community supporters.
