Good riddance to cigarettes and other tobacco

I commend Calabasas Mayor Barry Groveman and his council colleagues for advancing the important cause former Los Angeles Councilmember Marvin Braude championed for decades. The new Calabasas ordinance that regulates smoking in public places can be a model for other municipalities that seek to protect their citizens from the health dangers of second-hand cigarette smoke.
