Nature walks to be offered

The Children’s Nature Institute will offer docent-led family nature walks in Agoura Hills and Malibu this month. There is a suggested donation of $7 per family, and the walks are designed for children from infants through age 8, along stroller-friendly trails.

Trained volunteers will introduce children to skills that help them with reading, science, math and art, while learning to be gentle and respectful of plants and animals.

From 10 a.m. to noon Tues., Feb. 7, families are invited to join a walk at Oak Canyon Park, 217 N. Medea Creek Lane, Agoura Hills. Families can explore Solstice Canyon from 10 a.m. to noon Tues., Feb. 14 at 3455 Solstice Canyon Drive, Malibu.
