Someone broke the front window of the Alliance gas station in the 5200 block of Palo Comado Road on Jan. 12. The culprits stole seven cartons of cigarettes and $180 in cash. Damages to the window were estimated at $245.

Thieves stole tools from a trailer parked on Lewis Road on Jan. 6. The value of the tools wasn’t reported but the damage to the door lock of the trailer was $100.

Vandals caused $1,000 in damages to a Ford Explorer parked at the Vons shopping center on Kanan Road. The incident occurred on Jan. 7.

Calabasas

Thieves stole a $2,550 jungle gym and accessories from Playground Warehouse in the 24000 block of Ventura Boulevard. The incident occurred on Jan 11.

Burglars stole $5,700 worth of computer equipment and jewelry from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway on Dekalb Drive on Jan. 14.

Burglars stole computers and computer accessories from the New Millennium Homes office in the 23120 block of Calabasas Road. The loss was $5,300.

A Toshiba laptop, valued at $1,600, was stolen from a locked vehicle parked on Las Virgenes Road.

A purse containing two wallets valued at $150 was stolen from a Honda Civic parked on Las Virgenes Road on Jan 10. The vehicle’s window was shattered and will cost about $400 to repair.

Vandals damaged the door frame of an apartment in the Malibu Canyon Apartment complex on W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Damages from the Jan. 16 incident were $50.

Vandals tried to break into two vending machines inside the A.E. Wright Middle School campus on Jan 9. The loss was $800.

On Jan. 6, a laptop computer valued at $500 was stolen from a construction office in the 23900 block of Calabasas Road.

Westlake Village

Tools were stolen on Jan. 7 from the bedroom of a home under construction on Seven Oaks Court. The loss was about $3,300.
