Not bitter about defeat

The vote is in. The Town Center will not be built in Westlake Village.

I just want to thank the many hundreds of Westlake Village residents I had the chance to meet, talk to and learn from during the 18-month application process.

The Rotkin Real Estate Group is a class act. Lowe’s is a terrific company and would have been an excellent neighbor in the community.

I believe in the long run, instead of the restaurants, store, and shops that had been proposed, the four-story office complex that will inevitably be built on the property will not be what the residents had ever hoped for, or wanted. Time will indeed tell.

Westlake Village is a gem in Southern California. The residents should take pride in their HOAs, city council and the topflight planning and administrative staff and city hall that is experienced and professional in every way. Al Abrams Abrams Creative Services
