Spice up your life with these classes

The city of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services is offering beginning and intermediate Italian and conversational Spanish classes for ages 16 and up at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center, 30610 Thousand Oaks Blvd. Italian will be taught Monday evenings and Spanish on Thursday evenings. Each eightweek session is $98. Classes will begin the week of Jan. 23. Call for specific class times.

Dance instructor M.C. Callaghan will conduct swing and salsa dance workshops at the Recreation Center on Sat., Jan. 28. Beginner swing lessons are from 3 to 5 p.m. and salsa lessons will be from 5 to 7 p.m. The cost is $20 per person per lesson. Singles and couples are invited to participate.
