Calabasas Chamber announces new chairman of the board
Stephanie Warren Local realtor Stephanie Warren is the new chairman of the board of the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce for 2006.
“We have an experienced, enthusiastic board of directors and committee chairs with some exciting plans and goals for 2006,” said Warren, a 10-year Chamber member.
“My personal pledge is to make membership in the chamber worth the time and financial investment by providing the best speakers, special events, business builder seminars and networking functions to increase our members’ effectiveness and visibility,” said Warren
Warren has served on nearly every Chamber of Commerce committee and has worked on many special events. She’s also seen her business and friendships grow as a result of her involvement. She said she’s committed to helping other Chamber members find their own level of success.
Warren has more than 25 years of sales experience and is currently an estate agent with Ewing and Associates Sotheby’s International Realty in Calabasas.
“Her leadership skills and professionalism make her an office stand-out and we’re happy to share her with the Calabasas Chamber,” said Roger Ewing, managing partner. “We know she will excel at whatever she chooses to do.”
Warren has a master’s in communications and works extremely well with people, Chamber officials said. Whenever she needs a product or service for her home or business, such as auto insurance, a CPA, car repair, gifts or a pharmacist, Warren uses her Chamber contacts.
“Think how more successful our chamber would be if every member did just that, used and referred other Chamber members,” Warren said. “For no additional cost, we can operate like the most successful leads groups without limiting the membership to one person from each profession.”
Warren plans to continue the Chamber’s partnership with the city of Calabasas at the Method Fest Film Festival in April. The Chamber also produces October’s Calabasas Pumpkin Festival in conjunction with the city and the Calabasas Arts Council.
In June, Warren will help organize the Chamber’s 11th annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction at Fins Creekside in Calabasas.
“As the 2006 chairman of the board, Stephanie will meet the challenges of the Chamber and its business members with energy, enthusiasm and creativity,” said Carol Washburn, Chamber president. “She's a dedicated leader committed to strengthen and grow the Chamber by creating valueadded benefits for the membership.”
