Burglars took a $2,000 laptop computer and $25 in cash from the Agoura Hills Center for Healing in the 30400 block of Canwood St. on Dec. 22.

Thieves stole a Chihuahua dog from a display case in the front of the Healthy Pets store in the 5880 block of Kanan Road on Jan. 2. The puppy was 8 weeks old and reportedly valued at $1,000.

Thieves stole iPODs and other items from an unlocked vehicle parked on Fairview Place on Dec. 22. The stolen goods were valued at 1,250.

Several Christmas gifts, including a 27-inch high definition television, a GPS receiver, a laptop computer and other hardware, were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 5000 block of Cornell Road while the owner was at a restaurant. The incident occurred Dec. 23 and the loss was about $8,000.

Thieves broke into a car parked on Freshwater Drive and stole a purse containing credit card and other personal information. The victim reported that the cards were later used to make purchase valued at $1,870

A computer, a wallet and sunglasses valued at about $1,200 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Cresthaven Court on Dec. 23.

Calabasas

Someone stole a gold chain valued at $535 and a pair of slippers worth $65 from an unlocked vehicle parked on Pulido Court on Dec. 8.

Vandals shattered the driver’s side window of a vehicle parked on Parkmor Road on Dec. 28. Nothing was taken from the car but the loss was $200.

Burglars stole cash, a jewelry box, a wallet and several Christmas gifts from a home on Mulholland Highway on Dec. 21. The items were valued at about $1,000.

Vandals smashed the rear passenger window of a vehicle parked on Punto De Vista on Dec. 24. The loss was $300.

Westlake Village

Someone stole a purse and a wallet containing bank cards and a driver’s license valued at about $300 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the Countrywide parking lot in the 31303 Agoura Road. The incident occurred on Dec. 8 while the victim reportedly was at work.

Someone scratched the hood of a vehicle parked on Sherwood Road on Dec. 30. Damages amounted to $250.

Vandals scratched a vehicle parked at a shopping center on Lindero Canyon Road on Dec. 29. Damages were $1,000.

On Dec. 12, a Westlake Village resident reported that someone charged $3,100 for goods and services at the Home Goods Store on Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks using stolen credit card information. The suspects also used the stolen card at the Beverly Center in Beverly Hills, Sheriff’s deputies said.
