Actors needed for Anza festiva

The Calabasas Anza Heritage Association will hold open auditions for child and adult actors and musicians for its 21st Annual “Anza en Calabazas” historical presentation and festivities— commemorating the 1776 Anza expeditions—on Sat., Jan. 14, from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Calabasas campus of Soka University of America, 26800 West Mulholland Hwy.

Novice and veteran actors and entertainers are invited to audition for unpaid roles as Spanish dancers, musicians and colonists.

The 2006 Anza en Calabazas Festival will be held on Sun., Feb. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Soka. Rain will not cancel the event. Admission is free.
